BRFAL Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalist en-training brought their field guides and keys along on their last field-trip and identified insects!
Sometimes it is easiest to let the insect tell us who he is!

BRFAL Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalist wants you get outside and find some bugs! Bring your magnifying glass and take some time to look down and all around! Insects are everywhere, spot them at night with a flashlight, look on tree trunks, flowers, embankments.
