The nearest Virginia State Parks to the BFRAL CHAPTER of Virginia Master Naturalist are:
AmeriCorps Member Kelsey Kennedy is planning a Cove Clean-up by Canoe program from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers will venture out onto the lake by canoe and help clean trash and debris from the coves along the park's shoreline. Other volunteer opportunities include helping at the canoe launch site. This will include loading and unloading trash from canoes and onto trailers. Other volunteers will be needed to help prepare lunch for the participants.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved!
