Tick Check!

"Uptick" In Ticks Has Wildlife Experts Worried
Warmer than normal weather means a summer time threat is already coming out early: ticks.

Some precautions to take when you are outside:
  1. STAY ON THE TRAILS!
  2. STAY OUT OF THE GRASS AND TALL SHRUBS
  3. WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES AND SOCKS
  4. TUCK YOUR PANT LEGS INTO YOUR SOCK
  5. USE INSECT REPELLENT
  6. DO A TICK CHECK DAILY (inspect yourself in front of a mirror if possible)
  7. TICK CHECK YOUR PET
  8. USE A TICK REPELLENT SUCH AS FRONTLINE PLUS ON YOUR PETS

Be Safe! Tick-Borne diseases are no laughing matter.
