Were are these kids running? To ECO Camp, of course! |
ECO Camp 2019 Flyer |
It’s that time of year
again! BRFAL’s ECO Camp 2019 is just around the corner. Our chapter has
fun each year getting the younger generation to think outside the box when
exploring nature. This year’s theme for camp is ‘Fun Ways to Explore Nature’. We
have a variety of outside and interactive presentations Saturday mornings in
July. Some of these include Nature Photography and scavenger hunt, getting wet
in the stream and seeing what critters live under those slippery rocks, as well
as exploring plant communication, and practicing bird calls.
Many of our members get
involved in this project and have a great time doing it. We have already
started getting the word out with flyers and having info tables set up at local
libraries. This year we are going to have a taped interview on local television.
(Yes, one of our members offered to be on camera!)
So spread the word any
way you can, to friends, family and neighbors! All the information you need is
on the flyer above. Booker T. Washington rangers will be handling the registration so
call them early and pre-register your budding junior naturalists-in-training.
