Bluebird damage

Rick W says of the photos above:
“Found my bluebird box like this today. 1&1/4 inch galvanized pipe bent to the ground. Took all my strength to straighten it out on a vise.  Screws ripped out of wood and one broken off! A few bluebird feathers in the nest mess. Only thing I know can do this....a bear. Wow, there goes the neighborhood (again), not our first bear rodeo. Had sightings but never had a nest box mauled.”
